WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
As Category Manager for IT Infrastructure & Services at Oatly, you will lead the global sourcing strategy for IT, aligning it with business needs, innovation roadmaps, and compliance standards. You’ll be responsible for building the category from the ground up driving supplier performance, cost efficiency, and digital transformation across IT categories such as cloud, infrastructure, software, and hardware. While your main focus will be IT, you may also support other indirect categories. This is a high-impact role requiring strong strategic thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to lead change in a complex, global environment. But this role is not only about setting the strategic direction – it’s also about making it real. You should have hands-on experience with delivering and implementing strategies through data analysis, supplier selection and negotiation, and monitoring supplier performance.
Here’s the main elements of the role...
- Develop and lead global sourcing strategies across IT categories, ensuring alignment with business needs and compliance requirements.
- Continue developing and evolving the IT category strategy, transitioning into a spend governance structure aligned with the central global sourcing framework.
- Drive supplier performance, cost efficiency, and value creation through strategic partnerships, TCO analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Technology, Finance, Legal, and other key stakeholders to optimize IT architecture and ensure sourcing strategies meet business and regulatory standards.
- Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and performance management, while monitoring market trends and emerging technologies to inform sourcing decisions.
- Establish governance, policies, and KPIs to enable effective sourcing operations, performance tracking, and risk management.
- Provide additional sourcing support for other indirect categories, such as consulting, travel, and facilities, when needed.
But, you know. These are just the things we can think of right now! This might be the job today, but tomorrow brings more change, so being light on your feet and willing to embrace the unknown is a verrrrrry big help.
In this role, you will report into Director of Indirect Sourcing and the location for this role is at Malmo HQ.
