WHY OATLY?
Across the world people’s consumption habits and diets are evolving to be more plant-based. Enter Oatly, the #1 oat based dairy alternative producer in the world, with products spanning multiple categories.
Our sole purpose as a company is to make it easy for people to turn what they eat and drink into personal moments of healthy joy without recklessly taxing the planet’s resources in the process.
Sustainability, nutritional health, and trust are at the heart of what we do. We are building a culture that constantly upgrades each other so we can upgrade the planet. This is a company that shows great respect and a fearless approach to make positive change. Does this feel exciting? Well, this is where you come in. We’re now looking for a Planning Manager E&I to join our Supply Chain team in Malmö. In this role, you’ll lead our end‑to‑end Supply Planning function and play a key part in ensuring product availability, efficient use of manufacturing capacity, and strong alignment between demand and supply across the business.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
As Planning Manager E&I, you’ll have a central role in connecting the dots between Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Finance and Commercial teams. You’ll lead your team, drive planning excellence, and contribute to data‑driven decisions through our Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
Here’s the main elements of the role:
Lead Supply Planning & Execution
Own and drive mid‑ and short‑term supply planning, aligned with demand forecasts, production capacity and material availability
Develop weekly and monthly production plans together with manufacturing, considering capacity, labor and utility constraints
Balance inventory levels to secure service while optimizing working capital and minimizing waste and obsolescence
Proactively manage supply risks through scenario planning and mitigation actions
Communicate constraints clearly and early, and propose solutions to relevant stakeholders
Collaborate closely with Sustainable Operations and other stakeholders on materials, co‑manufacturers and risk mitigation
Drive IBP / S&OP
Act as a core contributor to the IBP cycle, including Supply Review and Pre‑IBP forums
Provide clear, fact‑based insights on capacity, inventory outlook, risks, opportunities and service performance
Support Finance and the IBP Lead with cost inputs, financial projections and scenario modelling
Facilitate cross‑functional discussions to ensure alignment between Commercial, E2E Supply and Manufacturing
Performance, Processes & Systems
Own and develop KPIs related to service level, inventory, and plan adherence
Deliver structured reporting and insights to leadership
Lead root‑cause analysis when things don’t go as planned — and make sure actions follow
Drive continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and data quality
Act as system owner for planning tools (such as Anaplan, D365, or similar)
Lead improvement initiatives within supply planning, inventory optimization, and deployment
Ensure governance, standards, and documentation are in place and work in practice
Lead people & collaboration
Lead, coach and develop a team of planners, building accountability, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
Build strong, trust‑based relationships across Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams
Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement
In this role, you will report to the Planning Director, and the location for this role is at our HQ in Malmö.
