In this role, you’ll make an impact across the entire organization. You’ll help shape the team and collaborate with passionate people driven to make a positive difference. Here’s the main elements of the role...

• Play a crucial role in our fast-paced and agile digital team, where a small group drives big impact.
• Develop & implement prototypes for advanced features and designs in a cross-collaborative environment.
• Work in a cross functional setting with a creative team and other technical teams.
• Support cross-channel marketing efforts for both local and global campaigns.
• Create reusable components that are integrated to our CMS (Storyblok) and are utilized across our global websites.
• Work with integrations towards PIM, ERP, CRM and other fun* projects. (*we think they are fun)
• Bring prior experience in implementing website accessibility according to WCAG standards, ensuring inclusive and user-friendly digital experiences.
• Optimize website performance by implementing technical SEO best practices.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our Business & Technology team at Oatly. If you get a kick out of turning pixels into pure joy and believe great code can make people smile, you’re our kind of human. We want someone who geeks out over new and pioneering tech as much as we do, and who loves building things so delightful that users can’t help but shout "Oh Golly Gee, this is AWESOME! 🤯" (or, you know, their own version of “This digital experience has enriched my soul”) when they see it.

Other key competencies & experiences:

• You understand the full journey—from idea to live product—and how each step impacts the outcome.
• Experience of building user/consumer facing applications.
• You have strong presentation skills and can effectively present technical concepts (even to non-technical colleagues).
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure and organize data effectively for scalable web applications.
• Strong frontend focus and a passion for creating elegant, well-tested solutions.
• You have at least five years of experience in front-end programming and advanced skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• B.S. in Computer Science or similar level of expertise.
• Knowledge in JavaScript libraries (Next js, React js, Node.js).
• Keen attention to graphical details to maintain a cohesive design across newly developed website components.
• Experience in working with Design Libraries i.e Storybook or similar.
• You bring a collaborative mindset and a genuine desire to contribute.
• Fluent in English.
