The Internal Communications team is here to inform, engage, and unite our global organization around our mission, values, and business using transparent communications that reflect Oatly’s culture and build trust. This role is designed to assist with the end-to-end execution and delivery of communication plans, content, events, and serve the organization in delivering valuable, accessible information that facilitates awareness and alignment.
We are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join the team for a temporary position from June 2025 to January 2026.
The role reports to the Director of Global Internal Communications and is based in Malmö, Sweden. No travel will be required.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 2+ years working in an internal communications role, or similar.
- Experience in creating compelling business communications.
- Comfortable with enterprise software solutions, digital tools, and content creation platforms, such as: Microsoft Office and Teams, intranet platforms and CMS, Monday.com, Adobe Suite, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar e-newsletter tooling, web analytics tools.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design is a plus.
- Fluent/native in English; Swedish language is a plus.
- Experience working in a global company is preferable.
- Experience developing communications for an extensive, distributed workforce is a plus.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:
- Assist with the end-to-end execution of communication plans and materials, which may include creating plans, drafting content, writing talking points, proposing ideal channels for communication, obtaining leadership approvals, distributing materials across internal comms channels, and measuring impact.
- Own the curation and creation of content and delivery for our global bi-weekly email newsletter, Time Oat monthly poster newsletter, and ongoing Oatnet content, including planning, writing, and editing content.
- Serve as systems owner for internal comms – taking care of the ongoing development of Oatnet (intranet), e-newsletter (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), PlayIPP (digital signage), and other IC-owned tools.
- Support with delivering onsite events and activations to help employees connect with Oatly’s vision, culture, campaigns, and overall business objectives.
- Support in identifying, planning, and executing key employee engagement opportunities.
- Provide responses to email requests coming through the central team inbox and direct or fulfill any requirements as needed.
- Maintain internal communications templates and tools to empower an organization of autonomous teams and communicators.
- Gather data and report back on the effectiveness of communication efforts.
- Partner with different areas of the business to help them amplify key messages through impactful articles, presentations, newsletter content, and internal messaging.
- Collaborate with external communications to align on messaging and leverage content for cross-channel and cross-audience use.
WHO WE NEED YOU TO BE:
- You are experienced and confident in partnering with teams to guide and support in building strong communications and infrastructures that connect, inform and engage the wider organisation.
- You are skilled in orchestrating and producing internal communications and compelling content across various channels and mediums, (including intranet pieces, newsletter content, micro-messaging, live events, digital signage, videos, print).
- You are a passionate advocate of the sustainability agenda who wants to create societal shifts and drive the plant-based revolution
