The Role
We’re looking for a Business Developer Foodservice (or Out of Home, as we like to call it) to help accelerate our growth in Belgium. Over the past few years, we’ve built a strong presence in the market and gained serious momentum. Now it’s time to turn things up another notch, and for that we need another brilliant mind to keep the momentum going and the Oatly flowing.
In this role, you will be responsible for further expanding our footprint by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Working closely with your colleagues, you’ll bring our delicious products to more customers and continue to grow our brand in the out‑of‑home channel.
This position is based in the Antwerp or Ghent region. You’ll spend most of your time on the road meeting customers, with approximately one day per week in our Brussels office to connect with the team. Sounds like fun? Here’s the main elements of the role...
Driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets by establishing and nurturing relationships with key clients, partners, and distributors in the Out of Home sector.
Identifying and negotiating strategic partnerships that align with the company's objectives, enhancing market share and brand visibility.
Customer acquisition and retention: Develop and implement strategies to acquire new clients while ensuring satisfaction and retention of existing clients.
Effective product positioning in the Food and Beverage industry taking into consideration the unique needs and preferences of the Belgian market.
Collaborating cross-functional with internal teams such as barista market developers, fellow business developers, marketing and sales to ensure a cohesive and effective approach in addressing the market.
Representing the brand at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand awareness.
Who You Are
To be successful in this role you have at least 2 years of experience in Foodservice/Out of Home Sales, preferably in the FMCG market. You are able to build sound relationships and you speak Dutch, French and English. Oh jeah: a drivers license is essential to get on the road with your sweet electric ride.

A Bachelor degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field (We’re looking for natural talents so don’t let your background hold you back)
A commercially driven market expert who knows the Belgian foodservice landscape inside out, brings strong knowledge of the coffee and beverage scene, and leverages market trends to unlock new business opportunities.
An entrepreneurial spirit ready to make significant impact in the fast paced food industry.
A talented negotiator with proven success
Familiar with data analysis and business development tools like CRM systems.
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams e.g. marketing and product development.
Used to working with measurable targets.
