WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of driving how we connect with millions of consumers on the market and around the world. You will be expected to lead on the development of innovative, insight-driven media strategies that fuel brand growth and business performance. You’ll work closely with your local market team and with regional teams, including ECDs, Creatives, Brand Leads, and more, to ensure our media approach is bold, effective, and aligned with our purpose. You will be responsible for end-to-end media buying across all channels, including social media, digital, and OOH campaigns, working directly with platform ad managers and media partners to deliver excellence in execution. The role also includes reporting and performance analysis to inform future strategies.

- Drive global media excellence locally and foster collaboration across markets.
- Develop and execute paid social and media strategies aligned with business goals.
- Influence briefs with media insights and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Own end-to-end media buying and budget management across platforms.
- Optimize campaigns through performance monitoring and A/B testing.
- Act as media expert for local teams, providing guidance and sharing learnings.
- Manage vendor relationships and stay ahead of platform trends.
- Ensure accurate financial tracking and deliver post-campaign reports.

In this role, you will be part of a the Oatly market network committed to pushing the sustainability agenda, facilitating societal shifts and empowering the plant-based revolution in line with our values and mission. The Media Lead is part of the Oatly Department of Mind Control (ODMC) and will report into Market ECD. The location for this role is at our office in Barcelona.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE
We are looking for you who are a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in digital media buying and optimization. Your ability to combine technical know-how with creative problem-solving makes you a key player in driving performance across multiple platforms.
Other key competencies & experiences:
- 5+ years of experience in global brand, media, and communications strategy.
- Certification within: TikTok Media Buying Professional and Meta Blueprint.
- Deep knowledge of TikTok and Meta Ads Managers, including campaign setup, optimization, and creative formats.
- Ability to implement and troubleshoot tracking solutions like Pixel and Conversion API for accurate attribution.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience in planning and executing global media campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and engage stakeholders.
- Confidence to challenge ideas and recommend effective media strategies.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying ahead of platform updates and best practices.
