A little more about the role...
Oatly is ready to take over South Korea, and we are looking for an entrepreneurial person that is ready to make South Korea our next success story. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all sales in the region across retail, convenience, and food service. Your tasks include developing and maintaining customer relationships, creating sales plans for new and existing accounts, and managing category development with key customers. You will analyze sales performance, both for our brand and competitors, and be involved in product development and launches.
You will manage customer P&Ls, collaborate with the Marketing Department on local events to boost brand visibility, and seek opportunities for special events. Additionally, you will participate in sales and marketing conferences, act as a brand ambassador, and provide support to the Swedish organization when needed.
But, you know. These are just the things we can think of right now! This might be the job today, but tomorrow brings more change, so being light on your feet and willing to embrace the unknown is a verrrrrry big help.
In this role, you will report to the Business Manager in Europe and the location for this role is in South Korea.

We are looking for you to have...
- Several years of experience in sales within the food industry and an adequate university degree or equivalent.
- Extensive experience and a strong track record as a KAM manager.
- Experience in distributor management.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and customers.
- Strong negotiation skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and the capacity to work independently.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Korean and English.
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Proficiency in various computer programs, including Word and Excel.
Initially, you will work from your home office to organize the setup and expansion of the Korean location, building an effective sales force.
Other key competencies & experiences:
- Willingness to travel as needed for fairs and events.
- Additional departmental duties not mentioned above.
- A valid driver’s license.
In short, we’re looking for a driven sales expert with KAM experience in the food industry. If you're a skilled negotiator, fluent in Korean and English, and proficient in strategy and Excel, we want you! Are you travel-ready and eager to take on new challenges?
