WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
The purpose of this role is hands on laboratory work. Analyzing microbiological and chemical samples as part of the daily routine. We want you to be passionate about improving the health of humans and the planet, and working for a company built on the idea of change. A desire to apply and grow technical knowledge and skills within the fast-moving and exciting food industry sector is essential.
The laboratory work includes:
· Sampling in the current production operation
· Analyzing samples (water filtration, microbiological plating, ATP, pH, dry matter, viscosity and texture measurement)
· Interpret laboratory results from micro- and chemical analysis
· Reporting results into LIMS system
· Reacting to deviations generated by laboratory
· Updating instructions when needed
· Actively participate in site driven programs (focus areas) within Oatly Class program
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE
Enjoying hands on laboratory work as part of the daily routine. You need to be open-minded and having a can-do attitude to new situations and make the most of opportunities. Enjoying working with a diverse team of people and being equally comfortable working independently. We want also you to be a supportive and inclusive team member. Having good communicating skills in both written and spoken formats.
To thrive and be happy in this role, we believe that you have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor degree Biomedical analyst or similar work experience
- A minimum of 1 years of laboratory working experience
- Experience of analytical methods such as pH, dry matter and visocity
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and safety procedures
- Evidence of working independently and in a team
- Fluent in Swedish and English (oral and written)
In this role, you will report to the Laboratory manager and the location for this role is our Swedish production site in Landskrona.
