What you will do
A knack for strategic communications, love of leadership and solid planning are what’s key here. As a Director of Public Relations EMEA, you will amplify Oatly’s voice and protect our reputation in earned traditional, social and digital media contexts within EMEA, to educate and inspire people to make the switch from dairy to plant based.
Collaboration is of essence in this role, and you will work closely with creative, sustainability and commercial teams across the markets and be a key go-to person for PR related questions across the region.
More fun things you will do:
- Lead and develop EMEA PR team and the colleagues within it
- Work together with the team to make sure we have the best external partners in place
- Identify, coordinate and drive PR activity across all EMEA markets
- Reputation management, working closely with the teams in the markets
- Support Oatly spokespeople in EMEA for media event trainings and interview preparations
You can work from anywhere in Sweden, but we hope to see you at our headquarter in Malmö at least a couple of days a month (and more would be great!).
This role is a temporary position from August 2022 to August 2023 but as we plan to keep growing, chances are pretty good that other positions will be available by the end of this appointment.
Are you the Oat we’re looking for?
Besides being a highly professional and with an outstanding ability to thrive in a fast paced and unpredictable environment we believe that you are an inspiring leader with both a business and people mindset. You are both a strategist and a doer with the experience from developing and executing long-term strategies, and short-term tactical plans covering both corporate and creative PR.
Other key competencies & experiences:
- Extensive experience from a specialist communications role, with PR focus
- Team management skills
- Agency experience and/or experience from working in house
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
- Previous experience working in a scale-up environment
