WHAT YOU WILL DO

As an EMEA Contract Manufacturing Director you have the responsibility for the successful implementation of the EMEA overall contract manufacturing strategy in line with the Global Contract Manufacturing strategy. You will work closely with the other Supply Chain Operations functions and key stakeholders to deliver the agreed volume, and support the business growth on time and at the right cost. You will also ensure with your team that contracted manufacturing sites are working on continuous improvement efforts on sustainability activities to be aligned with the overall Oatly philosophy – the Oatly way.


You will join a dynamic Operations team, where Contract Manufacturing takes an important part in the Supply Chain Operation growth strategy. You will be coordinating and overseeing the contract manufacturing operations for EMEA and leading a small team.

 

More fun things you will do:  

  • Overall EMEA contract manufacturing strategy development and implementation.
  • Provide performance monitoring and track contract manufacturing site performance to ensure that Oatly requirements are met.
  • Supervise and lead the implementation of contract manufacturing projects.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and best practice implementation related to contract manufacturing partners.
  • Constantly evaluate and identify supplier risks in term of financial, quality, delivery, cost, capacity, system, market, etc. and leads efforts to address those risks. Track and proactively manage Supplier Risk and ensure business continuity plans are robust.
  • Develop and execute annual and multiyear sourcing plans for spend related to our outsourced contract manufacturing suppliers.
  • Identify and evaluate potential contract manufacturing partners in EMEA.


The position is placed in Landskrona/Malmö and will require some travelling. In this role you will report to the VP Operations EMEA, with dotted line reporting to the Global Contract Manufacturing Director.

We hope to see that you check the following boxes:

  • Contract manufacturing in the food and beverage industry.
  • Master/bachelor’s degree in engineering/Science.
  • At least 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Is an excellent networker with insight and interest to follow the industry and technologies.
  • Understanding of performance sales tactics and the ability to use analytics to make data driven decisions with a combination of high level of creativity.
  • Proven leadership ability and problem-solving skills.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of Quality Management principles and application to Supply Chain Management.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage projects, proactive and professional in manner with a high degree of integrity, initiative, leadership, strong communication skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic, innovative and solution oriented with a clear, strong and at the same time humble leadership.


We see that you have excellent English skills, verbally and written. It is a great advantage if you also know Swedish.
