Oatly started as a small company with a few awesome people doing it all. Then our growth journey took off with extended operations and we have been expanding at a remarkable speed ever since. Oatly’s first production site, Landskrona, is where the heart and soul of our expansion started and have the most complex and innovative operations of all our sites. We've gone from local to global in no time, and this transformation journey opens new opportunities and challenges as we speak! This is where we need you to drive the process of creating a world class foundation for all continued oatsomeness!



Your core mission is to make sure our site runs smoothly on a 24-hour, 7 day a week basis! This include both the inbound and outbound supply chains and all production activities carried out both within the site and any that are outsourced. Your mission will be to create a world class foundation for operations in Landskrona. This includes leading the site in a way that ensures that safety, health, the environment and quality
are the company’s number one priorities. Your responsibilities will include to inspire and empower the site leadership team, embracing the company’s values of trust, sustainability and nutritional health. You will also be upholding the Company’s Guiding Principles and be accountable for the overall direction and development of the manufacturing strategy and its alignment with the Company’s commitments and goals.

More fun things you will do:

  • Deliver, coordinate and continuously improve operations and development in close collaboration with the Leadership team.
  • Prepare the site operational budget and site capital budget.
  • Ensure full and effective communication throughout the business, at all levels.
  • Account for the maintenance of all accreditation standards and the co-ordination audits and activities to ensure continued site improvement
  • Make sure that all production is completed in a food safe manner and complies with all current health safety & environmental regulations.

This position will report to VP Operations EMEA. The position is based in Landskrona and requires occasional global travel to other manufacturing sites.


Besides having a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and being a great leader, we believe that you are a person who is eager to solve problems and enjoy a collaborative environment of change and fast growth. You also have senior leadership experience within a 24/7 food or pharma environment and a great track record of implementing cultural change.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Masters within relevant area
  • Experience of leading cross-functional and cross-company teams of managers
  • Experience of working within a global organization
  • Have a good ability to prioritize
  • Be able to coach, motivate, lead and support your team in a successful matter
  • Understanding of operational processes and controls
  • Experience in managing OPEX and capital budgets
  • Self-motivated and willing to take bold initiatives to secure success 
  • In-depth understanding of Lean-methodology
  • Ability to communicate with clarity, purpose and authenticity
  • Passionate about people, health and safety
