As Oatly’s business keeps expanding, we are now looking for a skilled Web/UX Designer to join the Oatly Department of Mind Control (ODMC). You will work in our Creative team, supporting Art Directors and Project Managers.

This role is based in our headquarters, in Malmö Sweden.

Being a Web/UX designer at ODMC is a multi-disciplinary job encompassing both user experience and classic web design (topography, color, HTML, CSS etc).

As a Web/UX Designer in our Creative team, you will:

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Creative Directors, Designers, Developers, Web Analysts, and other stakeholders within the organization (business tech, comms, local market teams)
  • Create digital wireframes, interactive prototypes and mockups for a variety of devices and interfaces
  • Work closely with ODMC and support the execution of their ideas in the digital space. 
  • Work closely with other designers to conceptualize and iterate on designs that clearly convey ideas and the digital user experience.
  • Implement SEO best practices including content structure and tags.

To be successful in this role, you will have to meet the following requirements:

At least 5 years of experience within Web Design or/and UX

  • Knowledge in Web design, color, typography, and UX/UI but also skills in website fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the most commons CMSs
  • Good knowledge in prototyping/wireframe/digital design tools such as Figma and Adobe CC but also to show design ideas through presentations, storyboards, site maps, and user flows
  • Used to both drive and work methodically with the design process. Knowledge in Atomic design methodology and make sure that the Oatly design system is updated and structured
  • Accuracy and high expectations regarding quality, both in details and the bigger picture
  • Strongly support the Oatly guiding principles
  • E-commerce experience is a plus
  • You need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written, and it is helpful if you speak and write Swedish fluently as well, as you will be working out of our headquarters in Malmö, Sweden

BIG bonus points if you have experience in some of the following: 

  • Motion graphics
  • Illustration
  • Animation
  • Video editing
