The role

At Oatly we hold quality very high, this is an opportunity to join a growing team, working closely with both different internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

As our QA Engineer Sourcing/Raw materials you will have an important mission to develop and manage quality assurance and food safety of external sourced material to Oatly manufacturing in EMEA. All according to overall Oatly standards and local legislation.

This means that you will:

  • Be responsible for evaluating and approval of suppliers and raw material.
  • Perform and support audits.
  • Secure documentation and follow-up of suppliers, that is inspections of processes, compliance with applicable food laws/regulations, and verification of HACCP plans.
  • Lead and support in trouble shooting and deviations according to RCA-methodology.
  • Decide which analysis to be made on raw material according to risk analysis.
  • Support on customer/consumer issues and questions.


The position is placed in Landskrona and will require some travelling to different manufacturing/supplier locations. QA Engineer Sourcing/ Raw Materials reports to QA manager Sourcing and Regulatory of EMEA.



Besides being a person who is passionate about food safety, quality and sustainability and find it inspiring to work together with others you also have a proven track record of improvement driven work. As a person you are analytic, cooperative and you know how to prioritize and lead your work.


We also hope to see that you check the following boxes:

  • You have a Bachelor´s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, biology, chemistry or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years working in the food industry with quality management.
  • Good knowledge of food chemistry, process technology and food hygiene/microbiology.
  • Experience from auditing (Quality, Food Safety, Health/Safety or environments.
  • Knowledge of BRC
  • Experience from working with risk analysis and HACCP.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety legislation.
  • Excellent English and Swedish skills, verbally and written.
